It really breaks my heart knowing this will be the last time I can say this for possibly 3 years… but I am excited nonetheless! From the finale trailer, some ish is about to go down.
Cassie is absolutely losing her mind.
When miss gurl told Nate she was “crazier” than Maddie, she really meant it. But not in the “You ever say that again and I will come for you” type of crazy, but the mental illness about to reach a breaking point type way. From the last scene of the latest episode and the trailer showing her stomping down to the stage, I think it’s going to get messy.
And frankly I hope Maddie tries to fight her.
I don’t know what’s about to happen with Fez and Ashtray but I am really hoping they’re trying to fool us and they end up being fine. I actually heard a theory that Faye takes the bullet for them. Either situation would break my heart…I’m hoping for the best.
It’s going to be a wild ride tonight!
But ummmm where is or what happened to THE THIRD JACOBS SIBLING?! For two seasons now, the kid has been in photos! Did he die?! Is that what triggered both Cal and Nate’s anger issues? Is he at boarding school? Is he emancipated (not to be confused with Mimi aka Mariah Carey)? Please share your best theories because I need ANSWERSSSSSS!
I know I'm not the only one who noticed that my literal queen, Kitten Kween aka Kay Hernandez aka Barbie Ferreira, barely has any lines this season... which seems legitimately unfair to fans of the show since they got us HOOKED on her last season. DOn't get me wrong: Euphoria is PERFECT his season, but if I had to nitpick, I would need to know more about why she hates Ethan, how the fan fiction is coming along, and if she's hooked up with anymore carnies after the Jacobs win the chili contest. I know there was a rumor that the actress and director (Sam Levinson) weren't getting along, so he cut a lot of her dialogue. If that is the case, let's find a solution so that I can see my Kitten Kween's character development.
I feel like throughout S1 & 2 there have been a few story lines that we haven't seen play out yet...which are you hoping they pick/resolve?? I need to know what happens with that DVD of Cal...and I feel like they did a lot about Lexi and her play, I hope we get to see some sort of resolution there too. I know I must be forgetting about other story lines!
Season 2 episode 5 of Euphoria was in my opinion the best episode of the season thus far. Zendaya really took it there with Rue's character and we seen some Oscar worthy acting, the emotions were raw and extremely realistic. For a moment I forgot that I was watching a show and that's how I know that she did what she needed to do! Rue might be a bit boring and in a constant melancholy mood, but when she's good she's good. Plus she spilled the beans about Cassie and Nate.. This is the moment that Euphoria fans have been waiting on and I think we should thank Rue for that.
Side note: Can't wait to see how Maddy lashes out at Nate and Cassie *Evil Laughs*
It was announced last night that Euphoria will return in 2024 and I don't know what I'm supposed to do with myself until then.. Season 2 of Euphoria has really had a hold on me and I am fully invested in all of the characters, well most of them. In my head I am living on the set of Lexi's play and I don't think I'll be moving out anytime soon. Maddy is 100% right, Lexi is a G and I'm so glad that we finally got a chance to look at things from her perspective. Lexi has always been in the background and it would only make sense that she knows so much about her friends and their personal lives... She's literally around for EVERYTHING. The season 2 finale gave me a mix of so many emotions and I am looking forward to seeing how all these cliffhangers unfold in season 3.
I’m still in shock. I can’t believe all that happened on that episode.
First of all I was not expecting Nate to turn his dad in like that. I wonder if his exposition from the play just made him so furious that he finally snapped? It’s just wild to me after the lengths he went to protect his dad. Crazy.
I’m not even going to get into the conversation of Ash….
I’m proud of Rue for walking away from Jules like that. Low key think she’s toxic AF.
Is Cassies breakdown justified?? I mean I would freak out if my sister wrote a whole play exposing my life, but she has messed up quite a bit on her own and her tantrum was a bit overdone.
I am just so happy Maddy finally whooped her like that. The final line she said to Cassie “don’t worry, this is just the beginning” AMAZING! I’m so proud of her.
Now I lay here sad because I no longer have something to look forward to every Sunday.
Season 2, you were a treat!
This question has been wondering my mind for days now… and I’m still not over it.
Rue knocked her door down in two seconds and Fez couldn’t even make a dent when Ash was in there. Which led to you know what.
How is that possible ??
We needed Rue Rue there in that scene because I know she would’ve done anything to save Ash.
Ok, obviously, we need more Cal and Derek. Whether it's more of their backstory or if it's a new storyline that takes place in present day where Derek comes back to town for a weekend and ends up staying for longer because HE WANTS HIS OLD THANG BACK (as my grandfather would say). But the bigger question is... who do we want to play an older Derek? Actor Eric Dance, who plays older Cal on "Euphoria," will be 50 this year (half of a century has never looked so good), so the actor should be somewhat around that age. My vote is for... Kyle Chandler. The actor is 56 years old and has been the object of our affections for YEARS! Our TV sets may explode if those two beautiful men collided in a MTV Movie Award style kiss, but I'm willing to take the risk. Who would you cast?
It's making me so sad to see everyone talking about how Elliot's song went on for too long. the song was so beautiful..okay yes maybe like a minute too long but we know that time wasnt going to be used to clear up any of the many massive plot holes from the season lol
Am I the only Elliot lover out there?
