I don't know about you all but I was definitely a Disney Channel kind of kid. Honestly the movies haven't been the same since 2012.
90's and early 2000's babies know exactly what I'm talking about because it got weird after that point...
Here are a few of my favorites:
•The Color of Friendship
•The Luck of The Irish
•The Thirteenth Year
•Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off
•The Even Stevens Movie
•High School Musical 2
And a few that I can't think of right now.. I'm hoping all of your answers can fill in a few of the blanks in my mind. These were the best years of my life, times were so simple and Disney Channel had a movie for all of my adolescent stages. Sometimes I wish that this generation was forced to watch all of these movies, I think that it would get us all back on track.
Ok so here’s the thing… There have been plenty of moments where an actor / actress has played two different people at the same time, but never for a whole 4 seasons.. Dove Cameron played both Liv and Maddie who are twin sisters with 2 totally different sets of talents, personalities, and fashion tastes! I remember when I first seen the show and I actually thought that they were twin sisters in real life, but once I did my research I discovered that it was just Dove Cameron. I felt a mix of emotions.. but for the most part I was highly impressed because HOW IS SHE THIS GOOD?!!! On top of Liv & Maddie this beauty was in her bag because she made a name on Disney’s The Descendants as Mal. I will never forget or sleep on this talented queen and I feel like she doesn’t get enough recognition. I will always defend your honor queen!
With that being said stream Liv & Maddie on Disney Plus as well as The Descendants.
My favorite Avenger is the Scarlet Witch, she has gone through a lot throughout the years. Losing the ones she’s loved (her brother, Vision, and her children.) I think her actions following her losses has made me like her character a lot. Yes, some of her actions are bad but she doesn’t do it out of malice. She wants to gain some sense of being normal and I respect that. Plus her powers are DOPE.
I understand that Hulu, ESPN, and Disney Plus are all on some kind of bundle deal. But the kardashians new show streaming on Disney Plus is actually repulsive. Like why put that show on Disney plus? The first reality show to go on Disney plus? It’s not even about ‘what is available to kids’ because you should be monitoring what your kids watch anyway it’s more what the frick are they doing on Disney plus when we couldn’t even get the Lizzie McGuire reboot on HULU. That’s something that we were extremely excited for and they wouldn’t let Hilary Duff give her justice by taking the character to Hulu. It’s crazy how much of an affect that family has on media but also how much they have to do to stay relevant.
I know she comes around in the end, and also lived through something tragic, but the latter doesn’t excuse poor behavior.
-Ostracized her granddaughter for seemingly not having a gift
-Guilted her into believing she could screw it up for other members of the family
-Was totally cool with her son being excommunicated from the family after seeing a not-so-acceptable vision
-Only came around when it was clear she needed Mirabel to save the day
I know we’re supposed to be happy when they all make up in the end, but I was kind of hoping for a little more acknowledgement of her behavior.
