What Mary has said was wrong. However, she apologized. While I understand the reunion was taped before her stuff was leaked, they should cut Jennie’s preaching on racism 101 about 3/4ths shorter. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of the most lowest rated episodes ever.
1. Mary isn’t there to speak for herself even after she apologized
2. What Jennie shared was ten times worse than what Mary said. Period.
3. Jennie not only said that she takes accountability for the posts but she also said that she is a proud Republican who supports the police which means she doubled down (which btw being Republican does not mean you should devalue human life in the way her posts did)
4. Andy brought up that Mary said she thinks Black people can’t be racist and left it at that.
here’s the problem. When a Black person says that Black people Can’t be Racist it doesn’t mean they can’t be prejudiced. Literally anyone can go I don’t like this person because of their race or have preconceived notions. When a Black person says Black peoples can’t be racist It means that Black people aren’t in the institutional positions or positions of power in order to block opportunities from white people or have the privilege that white people do. So it’s taken out of context.
It was very weird that they chose that hill to die on because mark my words — now that Mary Cosby isn’t coming back, if Jen Shah goes to jail season three will flop like no other. ESPECIALLY considering that they’re filming right now and it seems that Jen is the only non white person filming. Sometimes Bravo takes one step forward and six back and I really don’t get it.
The woman is likely going to federal prison for her alleged crimes, but she is a gosh darn pleasure to watch, especially these last two episodes. A calm Jen is a really funny and fun Jen. (When she gets activated, though, it's too much for me.) She's been by far the most charismatic cast member, and I enjoy her confessionals, not to mention her delusion. Gotta admire it!! Can't believe she allows us to see her visit with her lawyer. At the end of the day (again, when she is calm) Jen is what a housewife should be: shady, hilarious, stylish, "rich", and facing a reckoning that will change the course of her life. She's great TV -- unlike Mary and Meredith, who are just terrible people that I do not enjoy watching be terrible.
Cameo is a fun platform where we see a lot of our favorite Bravo celebs making personalized videos for an extra buck or two. I'm all for Cameo and think some of the videos are really fun but I was a little disturbed when I saw that ex RHOSLC newbie Jennie Nguyen's young daughter was on there. I forget exactly how old Karlyn is but she can't be more than 10 years old, and she's making personalized videos for adults.
While I'm sure Jennie supervises, you never know what weirdos out there are requesting videos from a kid. Karlyn's videos are $50 for a personal one and $245 if it's being used for business purposes. She was hilarious and adorable on RHOSLC but what company is asking for videos of a child for business use? The whole thing is a little strange and exploitive to me. I'm all for children earning their own money but from unloading the dishwasher or having a lemonade stand, not making videos for grown adults.
OK ANDY COHEN, come through on asking the question we've all been — was Coach actually dealing with internal bleeding when Jen was arrested? Turns out... he actually WAS dealing with... rectal bleeding (poor guy, we woulda been fine with just bleeding!)? And Jen actually DID get a call about Coach's medical issue? And left BL&L's parking lot because of that and THEN was arrested? Coincidentally? There was no tip-off to get her out of the sprinter van?! Do you guys buy this?
I couldn't help but wonder.. why have I been finding myself liking Jen but when RHOBH was on, I was gunning for Erika? Is it because Jen Shah has been charged so that's that, and we are able to let the justice system do it's thang? Is it because the thought of plane crash victims is something we can easily wrap our minds around rather than allegedly buying/selling people's information online? I need to know where everyone stands. BEcause guys, I really enjoy Jen Shah....
Bad Weather is making this such a thing, when it really isn't. It really seems like Lisa just mispoke when she called Meredith (or was lumping the memorial on Monday with Meredith's very real emotions 24 hours later) and wasn't trying to expose her as a liar. I wish Whitney and Heather would get a storyline of their own instead of always trying to investigate other people's drama.
Jen Shah pleaded guilty and her sentencing is in November where she faces 11-30 years in prison! 😱
I just love how all last season she said she was innocent and how the sycophant cast was too spineless to say anything and just wanted to party with her on cinco de mayo. 🙄
I’m done with this franchise.
I saw this on twitter (sorry can’t cred the person bc I can’t find the tweet again), but basically the theory is Jen caused heathers black eye, which is supported by: (1) heather called Jen first and gave her a chance to own up, (2) heather has clearly intimated that someone else in the group caused it; and (3) if heather were to disclose it was Jen, that would probably result in the revocation of Jen’s bail so she’d have to sit in jail waiting for sentencing.
I think it all fits. Yes, Jen’s confessional was funny as she thought up possible stories to tell the other women. But Jen is a con artist and therefore we know she uses charisma to cover her lies. Thoughts? Theories?
