Not all of the couples ended on good terms when Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé wrapped up on Sunday, April 4. During the two-week season finale on TLC, five couples walked down the aisle, but two of them never even made it that far. In fact, two of them never even began their official 90 days. But even for the reality romances that made it to the wedding, there’s no guarantee of a happily ever after… so which 90 Day Season 8 couples are still together at the reunion — and who will be at each other’s throats? Let’s go through the duos one by one.
Mike and Natalie
We first met Mike and Natalie on Season 7 of the show, where they ended things on rocky terms. Unfortunately, their relationship wasn’t doing much better during round two. While Mike agreed to let Natalie come stay with him in the States after her K-1 Visa paperwork came through, he seemed to be dragging his feet since day one, unsure if things would work out but tentatively willing to give them a shot. As the season progressed, however, it became clear they were headed for the inevitable disaster teased in the season premiere. But the finale showed them walking down the aisle despite that, leaving fans to wonder just how long their marriage would last.
Unfortunately, the answer is not long. After tying the knot in April 2020 according to reports from In Touch Weekly, they went on to split less than a year later. Uncle Beau may have shed a tear at their wedding, but he was also all too happy to spill the tea about their breakup. He chatted both with fans he met in person and with the news outlet, who quoted him in March 2021 saying that the marriage had been over for several months — and good riddance to bad rubbish. “She can stay away for all I care,” he said.
Based on how messy their breakup was on the show after Mike called off their wedding the first time around, I’m expecting major fireworks from these two. Natalie has always felt her emotions in a big, big way, and while Mike tends to play things closer to his chest, he gets no less frustrated with her than she does with him. If we don’t see Natalie all out shout, I’ll be shocked, and I’m eagerly awaiting to see if they once again fought over who got to keep the ring.
Tarik and Hazel
The couple introduced themselves to audiences on Season 2 of Before the 90 Days before continuing their story on the flagship show in the franchise. Season 8 featured them mostly getting along, but they hit some major speed bumps on their search for a girlfriend when it became clear that they didn’t have a common type when it came to women. Worse, Hazel seemed to be actively ruling out anyone that Tarik might like — and he stirred up the drama when he suggested (foolishly) that they contact their ex, who is really just his ex, for advice.
By the end of the season, however, they’d managed to put the Minty drama behind them, pause their search for a third, and exchange vows in front of family and friends. On Instagram, they decided to throw caution to the wind throughout the season by making it clear that they’re still together today. Tarik’s Instagram bio includes a link to Hazel’s account as well as the #Tarzel hashtag (you know, to match his #Tarzel necklace), and Hazel’s Instagram bio includes the same. They’ve also shared photos and videos together, including romantic posts about their love after their wedding episode aired.
“I do,” Hazel captioned one of her wedding photos simply. Her husband’s was a little more emotional. “My wife. She is the strongest person I know. She is the most complex person I know. She did what would terrify others. Backlash be damned. Criticism be damned. My loving, shy little braveheart. Tough as nails in light blue heels,” he wrote. “I love her.”
Rebecca and Zied
The Georgia native and her Tunisian fiancé weren’t new to viewers, either. After appearing on Season 3 of Before the 90 Days, they made their return as they sought to bring their relationship stateside. Their relationship this time around was mostly smooth sailing (other than facing judgment from pretty much all sides), but they hit a snag when Zied revealed late in the game that he wouldn’t be able to live with Rebecca during Ramadan if they weren’t married yet. She wanted to take their full 90 days to make sure she wasn’t getting used again, but she also didn’t want either of them to move out — and, more so, she didn’t think they could afford it.
Eventually, she gave in and decided to bump up their wedding date, which had its own sartorial struggles as they tried to throw everything together last minute amid a global pandemic. Similarly to Hazel and Tarik, they also haven’t kept quiet about the status of their relationship as the season aired. The duo frequently posted pictures together, with family and friends, and with Zied’s new step-grandbabies he was so excited to play with.
Though Rebecca made it clear to her husband that kids were off the table for her, it seems like they may have even grown their family. No, not by becoming parents, but by bringing home a sweet little pooch to add to their collection of pets. In September 2020, Rebecca revealed their latest addition was a miniature schnauzer named Prada, and the pup seems to be fitting in great with siberian husky Rocky and the couple’s cats.
Brandon and Julia
These two were the first new couple we met, and they seemed destined for trouble. Clashes appeared to be inevitable between Julia and Brandon’s parents, especially as she adjusted from life in the city to becoming a farm girl out in rural Virginia. When push came to shove, however, the foursome found a way to all happily coexist, and Brandon finally seemed actually excited for his wedding as he walked Julia down the aisle in her iconic short dress and sneakers.
Recently, they also haven’t shied away from sharing their couple photos on social media, including pictures from a trip they took that may or may not have been a belated honeymoon. “Welcome to Miami,” Brandon captioned one of the shots on April 1 as he held up his wife, her legs wrapped around his waist. In March, he specifically thanked everyone who has shown them support along their journey. It seems these two are in it for the long haul, though they’ll hopefully continue to keep any pregnancy scares at bay until they’re ready.
Jovi and Yara
Did anyone else think they would actually make it down the aisle after we met them in the season premiere? These two seemed to constantly be at each other’s throats, with Yara sharing complaints related to just about everything in their lives, from the state they were living in to the apartment Jovi found to the work he did and so forth. When the Ukrainian discovered she was pregnant, however, suddenly the stakes were a lot higher — though it didn’t mean that Jovi seemed to appreciate that fact.
No matter how much they were at each other’s throats on the show, however, Yara’s Instagram comments defending Jovi made it clear from pretty much the beginning that they would work things out. And, in the finale, audiences watched them tie the knot in Vegas and then go on to welcome their sweet little daughter, Myla. These two may still have plenty of issues to iron out, but it seems they’re committed to working through them together.
“I’m so happy,” Yara captioned an Instagram album full of behind-the-scenes wedding pictures on April 5. Sharing a picture of his own, Jovi bragged that the haters had been playing themselves all along. “For everybody who thought we wouldn’t make it, we proved you wrong,” he wrote. “Thanks for all the support and positivity throughout the season!!!”
Andrew and Amira
Introduced late in the game compared to most of the other couples, Andrew and Amira’s relationship was at a disadvantage due to the fact that Amira’s K-1 Visa didn’t come through until after the pandemic had already started. That meant they had to find an alternate way to get her to the States, so they devise a two week “quarantine” vacation in Mexico where they would meet up at a resort before heading home to California together. However, when Amira was detained by immigration and then sent home to France, they needed to come with a plan B — and then that fell through, too.
In the last few episodes of the season, fans watched as Amira flew to Serbia, hunkered down for a lonely and less-than-luxurious two week stay (at least as compared to Andrew’s adventure full of steaks and one half of a couples’ massage), and then prepared to get on a flight to the U.S. But when the time came, after she’d allegedly been berated by Andrew all night (and her texts seemed to support this accusation), she backed out of the plan, and he seemingly pulled the plug on their relationship as a whole. While he told his mom and sister that he didn’t know where things had gone wrong, Amira claimed he had already asked for the engagement ring back, leaving it questionable where things stood.
Online, fans speculated both that Andrew was toxic and that Amira was using him, but regardless it seems they’re over for good. On Instagram, Amira has posted about being a strong woman who stands up for herself while Andrew has butted heads with commenters and fellow 90 Day stars alike. He’s seemingly embraced the “d-bag” label given to him as he shares self-indulgent selfies and calls out his haters. Not expect to see either of these two play nice at the reunion — and, frankly, I’d be a little surprised if Amira agrees to confront him directly at all.
Stephanie and Ryan (and Harris)
The final couple introduced on Season 8 didn’t even make it to the end of the season. In fact, several episodes from the finale, they split as Stephanie accused Ryan of trying to have sex with her without a condom, leading him to storm off and never return. Instead, she finished out the season with his cousin Harris, who she’d already hooked up with once before. While the final episodes showed Stephanie making a point of checking in with Harris’ maybe-ex-definitely-mother-of-his-children to make sure they were all on the same page about moving forward, it also left a lot of questions unanswered.
Harris’ ex gave Stephanie the go ahead and Stephanie changed Harris’ contact info in her phone to “Harris…….fiance?” However, the cameras also capture Harris and that same “ex” canoodling and sharing a kiss as he made it clear in interviews that he was willing to do whatever it takes, including being a good partner to Stephanie, in order to provide for his kids. Without exactly being 100% forthcoming, he was still pretty frank about what he was doing and why, which can only have led Stephanie to face some unfortunate realizations about the nature of their romance as the show aired.
But did they even make it that far? On Instagram, Stephanie has posted all kinds of thirst traps and just generally made it clear that she’s single and ready to mingle. She also has hinted that she’s not above playing sugar mama once again, this time for her followers, though she’s more inclined to dub it philanthropy than anything else. “Hmmm... who will I surprise this week?” she captioned one photo, adding money emojis. On another, she wrote, “If I were to let you take one of my cars for a week, would you take my Maserati Ghibli sports car, or my Maserati Levante SUV? Do you think I should do that for one of my followers?”
The real question isn’t whether Stephanie’s single, though, it’s just who she’ll be confronting at the reunion — or if either of her exes will even show up. Stephanie’s never been afraid to hold back about how she feels, and I’m waiting eagerly for the drama to unfold.
