Well, friends. I woke up this morning to zero comment notifications on The Dipp... as in my comments weren't interesting enough, and boy does that hurt. Alas, I'm making it my mission to be wittier and more relevant moving forward in an attempt to never feel this sadness again.
Anyone else notice that Wordle, now that NYTimes has taken over, feels different now? I don't know if it is the word selections, the change in color... or the commodification of something that was once so pure. Or it could just be the moment in time all of our interest shifts from the one thing we were obsessed about for a while. Whatever it is I am not _ _ _ _ _ about it. (C R A Z Y)
When I was a kid my mom would always be sure to stock up on "Little Debbie" snacks. We would have a cabinet full of (Honey Buns, Cosmic Brownies, Zebra Cakes etc..) And I still carry that tradition with me till this day. I never would've imagined that we would now have Little Debbie Ice Cream... I did not see that for 2022 and I am OBSESSED! I feel like I should do my duties as a 90's kid and spread the word, please head to your closest grocery store and tell them Aaron sent you.
You will not regret it, I promise!
After life long suggestions from family, friends, and randos in my dms to sell pics of my feet (joking and serious) I think I’m finally considering it. I’m trying to undo a life of being fiscally irresponsible (it’s an addiction!!) Is it that weird to make money off of my toes? why would god give me these bad boys if he didn’t want them to be enjoyed by the masses and make some coin off them in the process
In honor of Mother’s Day, Who is your favorite TV mom?
The ones that come to mind are Lorelei and Emily Gilmore. I love them both for different reasons. Lorelei is obviously the cool mom, and Emily is the one who helps you out in any situation!
I mean I’m not editing to the point where I am unrecognizable (cough cough my girl khlo money) but I see nothing wrong with a little face app enhancement of makeup here a lil shaving off of five pounds there? Has social media completely fucked me up or is this normal these days?
My friends and I talk about this all the time, but we would die to live in Kris Jenner's 80's-90's friend group (pre the OJ Trial). I feel they were so fun, throwing parties on tennis courts, having Christmas parties withe everyone, just the IT moms of Beverly Hills.
I'd also love to be friends with Jane Birkin in her hay day in the 60's and 70's.
Hello Dipp Community friends! Recently I agreed to help my grandmother clean out her Tool Shed and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The shed reeked of cigar/cigarette smoke and she and I were both unsure of how to get rid of it... of course I ran to Google for answers. I read an article about how baking soda and cinnamon sticks are known for getting rid of smoky odors and honestly I thought the article was useless. Turns out whoever wrote that article knew exactly what they were talking about! I scrubbed the shed down with baking soda and got a few containers of Cinnamon sticks to place around the shed . It took a few hours but the smell surely did come out, this was a success. I hope that someone finds this post helpful.
For an event where you must wear something more dressy than athleisure wear — how much of a notice do you need to be physically and mentally to prepared?
Before the pandemic where I couldn’t neccesarily be ready at the drop of a hat but i was used to putting on real clothes and could be fine with a two day notice for a brunch with the girlies — three days if it’s a night out on the town.
Now that things are returning with a little sense of normalcy I find myself needing about 5 to 7 days notice. Maybe I’ve lost my touch since I went from going out to at least once a week to… damn near a full year without going out and as of 2021 maybe 2x a month. I also need a nap before. Hair, makeup, outfit. Gotta check for keys, masks, phone, and vaccine card.
