What’s everyone’s take on editing pics?
I mean I’m not editing to the point where I am unrecognizable (cough cough my girl khlo money) but I see nothing wrong with a little face app enhancement of makeup here a lil shaving off of five pounds there? Has social media completely fucked me up or is this normal these days?

Honestly I have no idea. I think as long as you're not completely unrecognizable then it's probably fine? I am definitely guilty of editing out break outs, or any blemishes anywhere in photos. I love flattering filters too. I guess it just depends. Some editing is harmless, but I guess the question is where to draw the line.
All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
I think about this lyric a lot
What I find surprising is how much MEN are filtering themselves. I do not see these men on real life that I see on TikTok.
Khloe’s editing is off the charts insane, particularly since… like, we know what you look like, girl. We’ve seen you on TV for years. It’s like when Ashlee Simpson got a nose job and refused to say she got a nose job. We know what’s going on!
Anything less than Khloe is fine in my book. As long as we all feel good about ourselves and are having fun, we’re all good.
I think there's nothing wrong with touching up a photo! As long as you're not doing yourself a disservice by feeling frustrated that you don't look like the edited version, but more so just having fun with it and polishing things up, i don't think there's anything wrong with it.
I honestly don’t know what’s right anymore. I remember 4-5 years ago being told that ANY filter and editing was basic. Now, I feel like people edit an unreasonable amount.
I generally edit for lighting, but never add a filter. But I’ll play with filters to find out just how attractive I could be with more money.
Either way, I think there’s no wrong answer. You do you. ✨
I also don’t edit to the point of Khloe kardashian. I think it’s weirder to not do a filter these days unfortunately. Even the subtle ones make a difference. As much as I’d love to see what I look like with a perfect face I think people are trained to think that filterless photos are boring/not cute. It’s truly messed with my head.
