What moment made you quit a TV show for good?
It happens. You may love a show, stick with it for years, only to finally throw in the towel for some specific reason. What moment made you quit a show you once loved, and why?
For me, it was when Michael drove into the lake by following the GPS on The Office. Michael has his bad moments, but that just felt SO out-there that I couldn’t stay on board.
How about you?

Riverdale... after the gargoyle king intro season, it just got a little ~too~ much for me. Like what even?
I dipped (heh) from The Morning Show once they introduced a COVID-19 storyline. Couldn't imagine anything I'd want less with my pure escapism/junk TV.
SPOILER AHEAD - Marissa dying at the end of Season 3 in the OC. Tried watching the first episode of Season 4 and it just wasn't the same. Also remember when Marissa shot Trey and we all fell in love with Imogen Heap and that song?!
The fourth episode of Yellowstone, after the 1000th insane and unrealistic murder. The politics storyline was interesting, but everything else was just soooo over the top and soapy. Bye!
Stuck with SATC even through the second movie, but couldn't get to episode 3 of AJLT. I had a feeling it was headed in the wrong direction, and, based on everything I heard happened, I made the right decision.
I also quit Friends after Monica and Chandler got together. They were the couple I cared about — I didn't really care whether Ross got his happy ending, so I was good after that.
So I watched One Tree Hill religiously throughout high school and college and while some of the story lines were insane I stuck with it. What really made me stop was when the dog ate the heart they were going to use for Dan’s heart transplant. My roommate and I just sat there mouths open staring in shock at the TV. Like did that just really happen?
Two shows-Breaking Bad when they dissolved a guy in the bathtub, and The Blacklist when they were about to torture someone with dental instruments. Not for me.
I had been on the fence with The Walking Dead for a few seasons -- it was rough after they killed Carl off but after Rick left the show I was like, I don't care that much about these characters anymore. What was worse was that after Rick left it felt like a lot of the other long time characters went off in the woods to do their own thing, and the show just fell apart for me.
