Is Guacamole a dip, a spread, or a condiment?
My friend just called it “avocado dip” and I can’t look at him the same. But anyway. We were discussing and I’d like to throw in a new option… guacamole is a JAM. It’s a fruit spread. Tell me I’m wrong

100% a dip. I personally love guac on Fritos scoops lol
It’s a dip. On this sacred site and we are questioning if something is a Dip(p)??
I think it’s open to interpretation. Guac is such a delicious food, in many ways it transcends normal culinary discourse. Thus, I think like fine art, it’s open to the interpretation of the chef and the eater.
Absolutely all of the above. It’s like the “f word” in terms of its universal capabilities.
It’s a dip. I’m dipping my chips in guacamole. To say it’s a jam is absolutely psychotic 😂
You’re definitely in the wrong. It’s a dip! 100%!
I think it depends how it’s used. On a sandwich, it’s a spread. For chips, it’s a dip.
I might even classify it as a dollop from time to time, just to add some chaos into the mix.
