Mentally, I'm still slamming my Pink Razr shut
In 2008, I got the pink razr phone and it became my whole personality. I have yet to find a more satisfying sound than slamming that sucker shut after triumphantly winning an argument via T9 typing.
What was your first cell phone? Did you have the indestructible, should be studied by the military Nokia Brick? Were you a BBM gal? Did your parents also get their phone bill and yell "WHAT THE HELL IS A TEXT MESSAGE??"
For more nostalgia, listen to this week's episode of "I Am The Cute One!" @IAmThirtyAF joined us to recap Coyote Ugly. It's a good one. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/coyote-ugly-w-iamthirtyaf/id1570702948?i=1000557825663

Definitely had the cute lil Nokia! Then several versions of LG flip phones, then the blackberry. I still think I have them all in a box somewhere
iPhone 3GS as a 6th grader HA
Nokia brick all day. That thing was perfect.
Omg, and also, T9! I used to be SO fast at T9, but I think if I tried it now, I would get instant carpel tunnel.
I miss my Nokia Brick dearly. Playing Snake to pass the time…
What’s crazy to think about is, before I got the Nokia, I would use calling cards every day to get my mom to pick me up from school. Like, had to punch in 35 numbers to call someone.
Samsung flip phone! I used to be able to replace the skin of it too and get a cool cell phone cover for it. I also programmed ring tones in, of course: Led Zeppelin for any normal call (I thought I was so cool), Spice Girls for friends, and Britney's "Boys" anytime a boy called. Guess which ring tone I heard the least? 🙃
