We’ll definitely still have a news cycle around the red table talk, at the very least. 

And I also saw that Chris Rock said months back that he discovered he suffered from a condition that made it difficult to recognize people’s reactions, which is interesting in context of the moment. 

But, yes, post-SNL, time to move on, though I do look forward to Chris’ material when he’s ready to talk about it.

My final thought is that… Will and Jada need to break up. “Bad marriage for life” is NOT a good motto for a partnership, believe it or not, and it feels like there’s definitely something toxic happening there (at least based on Jada’s own Red Table conversations). I think Will is hanging onto a relationship that should have run its course, and it’s taking a toll. 

I witnessed my childhood crumble. The fish from shark tales and the zebra from Madagascar are beefing with one another. This is truly a nightmare 

I was waiting for the SNL takes to be totally done with it; and now I’m satiated. The skit was hilarious and Weekend Update on it was pretty funny too. Oh and the monologue! Loved it. 

My final thoughts are that it was a JOKE that hit a nerve that no one even knew about. Will’s reaction was insane, but I can’t believe Chris just stood there. (Though reading Kate’s reply below gives some context) Really, I just don’t care about the Smith’s, and don’t want to hear anything about them again. 

Ok we are one week out from the slap… and I think now we need to officially DROP IT. I can’t handle the think prices the “cancelling” of celebrities who don’t agree with the twitter army. So. This thread is for everyone to drop their final thoughts, a purge of some kind.
