Very Serious: How Do I Break My Twitter Addiction?

Kelly Conaboy is writing an advice column for Dipp readers. It's going to be very serious. So serious, in fact, we named it Very Serious: An Advice Column by Kelly Conaboy. Just email her at kelly.conaboy@gmail.com with your most crucial conundrums and each week, Kelly will solve one lucky reader's biggest problem.

Previously, Kelly has tackled the stars, how to buy a couch, how to get over a break up, how to ghost, how to update your computer, how to ditch your friends' babies, how to move, what to cook for dinner, and today, it's how to quit Twitter.

Dear Kelly,

I hate Twitter. How do I stop looking at it?

From,

Alex

Alex, I know. Something I’ve learned from my short time writing this column is that many of our problems as humans — at least the problems we’re willing to briefly DM a stranger about on Instagram so that they might write a humorous column in response — are similar. We don’t know what to eat for dinner, we want to be able to ghost people who are annoying. We look at Twitter constantly even though it makes us want to die. We’re all just going through it together. And isn’t that nice, at least, Alex?

Alex?

No.

No, Alex, it ISN’T NICE. It’s bad. STOP! Stop it! We need to get off of Twitter. We have to. We can do it, together, Alex, come on. I know we can. Alex. Come on, Alex!
