Well, this is certainly a step up from Eddie Ciberian. Scheana Shay and Brock Davies are reportedly engaged. And before we get to the juicy details, let's tackle the question you really want the answer to: will Scheana's engagement be on the new season of Vanderpump Rules? Maybe.
It all depends on when exactly Scheana and Brock got engaged. E! News reported that she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger Tuesday, July 20. Scheana apparently flashed her diamond, designed by Pump Rules' go-to Kyle Chan, while "celebrating love" with James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss, and Ariana Madix, per a source. So, the duo have been engaged for at least a few days.
Assuming the proposal went down sometime before Tuesday, it's definitely possible that the romantic moment was captured by Bravo cameras. We know that they were still filming Vanderpump Rules over the weekend, as cameras rolled during James and Raquel's engagement party. So, if the engagement happened sometime during the celebration, it's definitely going to make the cut of Season 9. (Imagine the drama!) But, even if Brock or Scheana didn't propose during the engagement party (fingers crossed), it could still make it on the season.
On Tuesday, Lala Kent posted a photo on her Instagram Story declaring, "That's a wrap on Season 9," so we know shooting is coming to a close. But remember, just because one cast member has wrapped for the season doesn't mean everyone else has. So it's possible that Scheana and Brock wrapped later — post-engagement, if you will.
It is, of course, possible that Scheana and Broke are not engaged, and therefore there is no engagement to be on Vanderpump Rules. The couple have yet to confirm the engagement news, though something that sure looks like an engagement ring was visible in an Instagram Story Brock posted on Wednesday, July 21. In the short video, Scheana is seen sleeping with their 3-month-old daughter, Summer Moon, on her chest, and she briefly flashes a ring when moving to hold her daughter.
