It was touch and go there for a bit. On Monday when Instagram and Facebook and WhatsApp were all down, I was worried. Not about my ability to be harassed by a random high school classmate to join her MLM via a Facebook Messenger message ("Hey girlie!"), but about the Bachelor in Paradise cast. What would they do if social media wasn't up and running in time for the finale?
Luckily, programming returned to normal and the BiP cast was able to post all about the finale on social media. From engagements, to celebrations, to celebrations about their engagements, to revealing that after breaking up on the beach they're back together — many of the couples that were on the show updated fans about their relationships post-Paradise.
So we rounded up the Bachelor in Paradise casts' reactions and responses to the finale all in one place, because these people love to diversify their social media platforms.
Mari & Kenny
Mari and Kenny got engaged in Tuesday night's episode and told the world with matching posts to the Instagram feed. They were locked and loaded with the Instagram stories too. Seems they've found their niche with the whole flicking off the camera thing.
Maurissa & Riley
Maurissa and Riley were the second couple to get engaged on Tuesday's finale, and were also ready with the twin posts. The Instagram stories Maurissa posted referenced Riley's swoonworthy speech about Sunday mornings, with the song "Easy" by The Commodores patched in. (If this isn't their first dance song, then I quit.)
Serena & Joe
Serena and Joe were the third and finale couple to get engaged last night, and were ready not only with their Instagram posts, but their TikToks, as well. I love to think of all these couples had all of these posts burning a whole in their draft folders.
Becca & Thomas
Although we watched them break up (rather dramatically), all the signs have been pointing that these two were together. Thomas may have even accidentally "spoiled" it when his post went live before the episode (oops!). For her part, Becca put together a video with cute clips and pictures set to the song "2 Million" by G Fli. Here's to Tommy and Boops! We're rooting for you!
Abigail & Noah
Their break up at prom was probably the hardest to watch, so I am glad these two found their ways back to each other.
Alana & Chris
Plot twist! In another shocking turn of events after how they left things, Alana and Chris are together, according to Instagram. Alana shared a photo of the two kissing on her Instagram Story and captioned it, "Paradise is wherever I'm with you." So I think we can considered this another Paradise success story.
The only couple keeping quiet is Brendan and Pieper. Sources are saying that the pair is no longer together, which after... everything. Good riddance.
