When will Billions come to an end?
Guys, with Axe gone this season something just doesn't feel right. Like the writing and sharpness of the series is still there, but I feel like something is missing. Prince, played by the amazing Corey Stoll, clearly knows what he's doing, but the whole "I'm a nice guy" play is just not cutting it for me. I need ruthlessness. I need more. I miss Damian Lewis.
I will say that Paul G aka Chuck is still giving me what I need from this series. His quest for justice is amazing to watch, and separately, I'd love to get lunch with Paul G. at some point. Like a nice reuben sandwich would be so fun.
Anyway, I guess what I'm getting at is when will this show come in for a landing? I get that it's been a jewel in Showtime's cap, but I think it's time to wrap things up.
A lot of people say that if you like succession you should watch billions. Is this true?
I think Showtime has a really tough time knowing when to call it quits (see: Dexter). I miss Damian Lewis too, it's just not the same without him. I bet next season they seriously consider a closing chapter (or at least if they're reading this... you should!)
When you have to take a shit at Peloton to stay relevant, it’s a problem.
