Is Laurie the most terrifying character on TV right now?

I have a tough time even watching scenes with her because of the chilling monotone voice. The actress is fantastic, but boy, does she make me want to sleep with the lights on. Can anyone think of someone worse? (Whitney from RHOSLC perhaps?)
