I did not expect to learn random pop culture facts watching this trial, but it taught us today that Nic Cage is responsible for Johnny's career (they were friends and Nic introduced Johnny to his manager), and Johnny made $1200/week working on Nightmare on Elm Street. Which is honestly a lot more than I would expect, considering he was a nobody and it was the '80s.
