As far as we know Vanderpump Rules hasn't been picked up for a 10th season, but that doesn't stop me (or anyone really) from still being overly invested in the lives of our lil Pumpers, one person in particular.

While Season 9 was airing, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss ended their engagement. At first they both posted the typical break-up post, basically saying there is still love there, but not romantically, and they want the best for one another.

Well, James has since deleted his post and since the split, they've both opened up about their relationship separately, and explained what drove them apart.

Raquel went on Scheana Shay's podcast Scheanaigans and said that "it wasn't just one thing but a culmination of things" that broke them up; she went on to say that James and her family never got along, which is always tough.

And then on January 26, James took to Instagram to comment on Raquel's "Un-Engagement Party" in a now deleted comment, "Drinking every night and sucking on penis straws … looks like I am the one who truly ‘dodged the bullet’ … and let’s not get it twisted it’s always MY year."

Nice. Needless to say, I think it's best these two decided to go their separate ways.

It's been several months since they broke up in early December and on January 25, James posted an Instagram Story holding hands with a mystery woman while in Las Vegas celebrating his birthday. At the time, he didn't confirm he was dating anyone, but on February 9, he went on Lala Kent's Give Them Lala Podcast and said: "I might be seeing someone kind of right now" and Lala goes, "Is it the girl on Instagram of you holding the hand?" and he says, "Yeah, yeah."

They go on to talk about the girl; Lala asked to see a full picture of her, but James says he can't show her one, because "she's not big on Instagram."

James said that he and the young woman met at one of Tom Sandoval's Most Extra show where he was DJ-ing, and Lala point blank asked, "Is she a fan?"

James was a little hesitant to answer and Lala said, "If she's at Tom Sandoval's show, she's a fan." James replied, "Well, who isn't a fan of Vanderpump Rules?!"

If there is a Season 10, would she join him on the show? James told Lala, "Look, it’s too early to say, honestly. I do like this girl, I really do. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. I can’t ask any girl to do that." He continued, "That’s kind of where my head was at with Raquel back in the day … With this girl, I don’t want to make the same mistakes. I’ve learned a lot. I’m just moving on and not thinking about everything that I’ve gone through.”

Lala nodded along and let him explain himself, and he went on to say, "So with her, I’m taking my time, you know she gets to choose what she wants to do with that whole situation and then for me it’s like, I have to decide, as well. Like shit, ‘What do I truly want?’ I’m not going to just do something for the fuck of it."

And honestly, by the sound of it, Lala wasn't fully convinced. She followed that up with: "I think you should parade bangers in. Ya know, it's been six years for you that you were in a relationship," and he chimed in, "What am I going to do, Lala, go on dates with tons of girls?" And very matter of fact, she sais, "Yes, that is exactly what you do."

But, over the last weekend in February, James posted a new photo with his "baby girl😍." So, things might be getting more serious than he wanted to let on.

I get where Lala is coming from, for sure, when she's hesitant to ship this new love interest of James'. She saw him go through this relationship and they both kind of ended up in the same spot at the same time, so I think them both being newly single, she wants to pal around with her old friend again like they used to.

And you guys already know, I think Lala and James are soulmates and will wind up back together once he gets this rebound out of his system. It's just a matter of time!
