This has been a big year for the cast of Vanderpump Rules. There have been births (everyone had a baby), business ventures (if Schwarz & Sandy's is even real, that is), and major break-ups (RIP Lala Kent and Randall Emmett)... and now another engaged couple has called it quits: Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy.

The news broke after there were reports that Raquel gave James the ring back during the Vanderpump Rules reunion that taped Friday. When I heard this, my mind went immediately to "what if the next Vanderpump couple is... James and Lala Kent."

It's not a far-fetched idea, honestly. They're both recently single after breaking off engagements, both are sober, and they have a little romantic history together. And to quote Mr. Kennedy himself: "We just have a connection that is undeniable."

Of course it's too soon to be talking about this, but that won't stop me. Take a walk through the back alley of SUR with me to see just how well-matched these two crazy kids are.

Instant Chemistry

Lala first joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in Season 4 and James was kind of a fresh face, as well. He was dating Kristen Doute at the time so he was more of a peripheral character, but the moment Lala and James met, you could just tell they clicked. In a confessional, Lala admitted to being attracted to him saying, "James the DJ... I've never been one to go for the little skinny guys. I don't know what it is about him, maybe the accent?"
