If you aren't on #NoodleTok, then where the "fuq you attttt..." (this is a reference to another TikTok trend, I clearly have way too much time on my hands). Gone are the days when we read our daily horoscopes to tell us what the day ahead looks like. Now we have a 13-year-old Pug named Noodle to do that.
Just in case you are on another side of TikTok, or not on it at all, please refer to the first sentence of this article. TikTok user @jongraz has a Pug that goes by the name of Noodle. Now, Noodle, for reasons that are about to become very apparent, sometimes wakes up with bones... and sometimes wakes up with no bones. It is this distinction that will determine the type of day we, as a collective internet, will have.
For example...
By formal definition, a Bones Day is a good day! It means the day will be filled with good luck, adventure, and magic. A Bones Day is a time to treat yourself, buy the thing you've had your eye on, take a trip, send the text you were too nervous to send, and ask for that raise, etc.
On the flip side, a No Bones Day is not necessarily a bad day, it's more like Mercury Retrograde kind of day. No Bones Day is a day to make sure to be more mindful, methodical, and take your time. Maybe wait to tell your best friend that you hate her boyfriend, or quit your job, or do anything impulsive. You'll probably collapse to the ground at some point, too.
And the people are checking in regularly with The Prophet that is Noodle to find out what their day has in store.
Noodle's reach has even gone so far as the Pentagon...
It's hard to tell if we as a society have a reached our peak with this or have finally hit rock bottom. Either way, embrace today, because it is a Bones Day and you never know what tomorrow's Bones will bring.
