- The Bachelor -Greg Grippo Reddit Has Something To Say About The 'Bachelorette' Frontrunner
Greg Grippo, the internet's boyfriend and potential frontrunner of The Bachelorette, has caught the attention of many. And for the most part, that's a good thing for the contestant. (According to @bachelordata on Instagram, Greg has gained the most followers so far this season.) People love him, y'know? But then there's Greg Grippo Reddit, which paints a slightly different picture about the Bachelorette contestant.
First and foremost, I have no idea who Greg Grippo is. Is he an actor? I investigated that last week, and I'm gonna say no. Is he a feminist ally? He studied gender studies so he at least knows the definition of feminism. Is he really 6' 3"? His stats say yes, but what's an extra inch or two for the sake of that number living on the internet in perpetuity and someone finding it, writing about, and frequently mentioning it years later?
Back to Reddit... which is an interesting place to learn about someone. Instagram is curated, Deux Moi is unverified, and Reddit is truly just the wild, wild west where you can post most things and everyone is like, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ sure, I'll consider that.
But there's one Reddit post under the r/BachelorCocktailParty that definitely stands out. It's called "Grippo ain't ready." What is Grippo not ready for? And why are we calling him Grippo like ball is life? Let's explore.
Greg may be charming, and he most likely has a good heart, but he led me on for a while .. not wanting anything serious.. he was in acting school and lived at home… he made me feel special but i could tell something wasn’t right .. he played me, maybe he just wasn’t interested in me, but he told me he wasn’t in the right place to be looking for something serious… he just seemed to always be texting his friends when we were together too , who knows what about .. now he’s ready to have six children and a wife? just seems a little quick to have such a change of heart.
According to a moderator in a since deleted comment, the post was "verified." Reddit did not provide any additional details, so how the story was verified is, if it's true, and who this person is is, you guessed it, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. So take all of it with a grain of salt.
But it seemingly coincides with another post that made the rounds on Reddit via Deux Moi last week that suggested Greg was an actor looking to boost his profile by going on the show. This post, too, was unverified, and it is very possible that the person who submitted the first post was following up on gossip via the Deux Moi blind item.
After all, on the show Greg has been nothing but kind, vulnerable, and supportive. He listened to Katie talk about losing her father, without interjecting his own experience losing his father. He absolutely has chemistry with Katie, possibly more than any other contestant so far. And they got him fireworks. You do not get fireworks for someone on The Bachelor/ette franchise if you're not going to invest in their future on the show.
So the characteristics and traits from Reddit seem a little out of place. But maybe it's just like a Yelp! review — the people who always seem to have something to say are the people who had a bad experience.
