The next Bachelor lead has yet to be officially announced, but let's be real, we all know it's Clayton Echard. If you're not one to keep up with Bachelor Nation gossip, you're probably wondering who the eff Clayton is because we haven't seen him in the franchise at all — until now. So, naturally, we have to break down every Clayton moment in Michelle's new Bachelorette promo to make sure we get the full picture.

The lengthy promo, which premiered after the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale, teased Michelle's journey to find love, and introduced fans to many potential suitors. But, thanks to the leaked news of Clayton's Bachelor lead status, all eyes were on him. And, contrary to my previous assumption that he was an early reject (why spoil Michelle's season by making a frontrunner the next Bachelor before the season even begins to air?), it looks like he makes it kind of far. Or, at least, his relationship with Michelle does.

The Group Dates

Our first glimpse of Clayton is, I think, in this Top Gun-themed group date. It's difficult to say if it's really him due to the fact that he's among 10 other guys in this shot alone, but, based on the neck diameter, height, and build, I think it's him. This tells me that Clayton probably won't be getting a one-on-one right out of the gate, which is good.
