Can a rom-com succeed in theaters anymore?
After hearing about Bros’ disappointing box office, it made me wonder: Can a rom-com be a theater-worthy experience anymore, or do they feel destined for streaming release for the rest of time?
Of course, Bros also was stacked up against horror releases in October (tough to beat, especially when they’re as good as they’ve been this year, ahem, Pearl), but it’s a shame — I saw Bros in the theaters, and never realized just how much I miss laughing with strangers. I miss big-budget comedies!

The lost city was good! Sandy and Channing were great together. I still consider that a rom com even though it also had a villain (love Daniel Radcliffe) and action
Was that in theaters? I thought it was just a Netflix release!
It was! At least I saw it in theaters lol
