TikTok thirst traps by dudes... how cringe on a scale from 1 to 10?

I don't know what I did to my algorithm, but they're showing up more and more in my feed. Like so:

I feel these are a big, giant 10 on the cringe scale (I literally cower with second-hand embarrassment), but I also have had friends say they're a) trying just trying to game the algorithm, and b) teens love it.

So I ask you:

1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how cringe? And, especially if you say 1, explain yourself.

2. Men... would you ever do this? If so, why?
