What TV show hooked you from the first episode?

I feel like most shows today are slow burns: about one season in, we hear about them from a friend, who tells us it’s amazing, but you might want to skip the first five episodes or season, etc.

But there are some shows that straight hook you from the start. Which ones did you feel an immediate connection to?
