The city of lights has never looked so bright, or American. Netflix released some first look pics at Emily In Paris Season 2 on Thursday, and they just might reveal what happens between Emily, Gabriel, and Camille.
After sleeping with her hot chef neighbor, Gabriel, at the end of Season 1 because she thought he was on his way to Normandy, Emily is going to have to face up to her actions in Season 2. Gabriel is, after all, still very much in a relationship with Camille, one of Emily's only real Parisian friends, and Emily isn't going to want to rock the boat too much. But, if you worried that her night with Gabriel would completely ruin her friendship with Camille, rest assured, that doesn't appear to be the case. At least not within the first few episodes.
Among the handful of new Emily In Paris Season 2 photos is one that features Emily, her BFF Mindy, and Camille — all dressed fabulously, of course. The three of them definitely don't look like they're working through any kind of tension, though it should be noted that Camille and Emily are both on opposite sides of Mindy, so they could be needing a buffer. According to The Wrap, this photo is from the second episode of the new season. So, at the very least, we know that they're still talking after what happened with Gabriel. The question is, does Camille know about Emily and Gabriel's tryst or not?
If Camille does know about Emily and Gabriel at this point, then it looks like the two friends might actually be moving forward despite the infidelity, which, honestly, would be a very French thing to do. Actor Camille Razat, teased Camille's Season 2 journey in July, telling People, "It's much more complicated. There are much more emotional scenes. My character is even more important." Hmmm...
But enough about this love triangle, let's talk about Emily's new love interest, Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount. Alfie is a très beau gosse Emily meets in French class. According to the Season 2 synopsis, Alfie "both infuriates and intrigues her." Sounds like the enemies to lovers romance Emily deserves! He's also...very...very...very hot.

Of course, there's also Mathieu, Emily's older co-worker. He might still be in play as a potential romance, but given that the only pic of him released is one of him seemingly crashing a dinner between Emily and Mindy, I'm gonna guess that he's been put on the back burner for now.
Emily In Paris Season 2 doesn't have an official release date yet, but Netflix did confirm that it will premiere before the end of the year. À bientôt!
