- Celebrity News -A Rod Posts Instagram Story Of J. Lo Shrine, We Ask "R U OK BRO"
While we’ve already started thinking about Jennifer Lopez with her other exes, Alex Rodriguez hasn't yet moved on. On A Rod's April 14 Instagram Story, he issued what was either a public plea for her to take him back or a tragic tribute to the love they had and lost. Filming a collection of framed photos (can we maybe call this a shrine? seems like a shrine?) that illustrated their romance, he tagged her with a simple heart.
What you can’t tell from the screenshots, however, is that he also had music playing in the background — and the song in question was “Fix You” by Coldplay.
Specifically, he had it queued up to this part:
The tears are streaming down his face, J. Lo!
But the absolute deliciousness of that public drama aside (especially in light of the fact that they said they're staying “friends”), the Story got me thinking about what else is on A Rod’s heartbreak playlist.
What Adele song is he absolutely belting out at the top of his longs while wallowing under the covers? What other songs will so move him to climb out from under those covers in order to film a video of a grocery list J. Lo left behind at his house that he’s since taped up to his bathroom mirror so he can see it every morning?
I’m betting his recent song history looks a little something like this:
You said forever, J. Lo. :(
He may have failed, but he has loved her from the start.
He can't forget the day she left.
"Picture perfect memories / Scattered all around the floor" is the perfect set up for an Instagram Story.
He’s been a mess since J. Lo left. (Clearly.)
He don't want nothing at all if it ain't J. Lo.
In another life…
If she starts flirting with Ben Affleck or Diddy regularly, A Rod will actually wear his record into the ground.
JK. He knows better.
I guess he needs you, baby.
Assuming those cheating rumors are true, well, I can only imagine how loudly he’s scream-singing, “It turns out freedom ain't nothin' but missin' you / Wishin' I'd realized what I had when you were mine.”
Sometimes he’ll throw on the Dolly Parton original recording to spice things up.
Baby really hurt me!!!!!!!!!
Look, she slipped one into her rendition of “This Land Is Your Land” and “America, The Beautiful” at the 2021 United States Presidential Inauguration. If we learned anything from that, it's that this song can be played literally for any occasion.
