So, while I'm kind of bummed, I'm not surprised that Kim and Pete didn't last. I am, however, surprised that the Kardashian media machine is going with the angle that it is, claiming that Pete wasn't mature enough for Kim.

It feels a bit of a caustic approach to me, particularly given Pete's mental health issues. It's hard enough to have a very public break-up with a very public figure (particularly after you get several tattoos devoted to them), but to have it framed as your personal failing feels a bit harsh to me.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't go with the "it was fun, but she's looking for something more serious" angle. It honestly probably would have made them both look better.
