If you love somebody enough, you'll follow wherever they go... at least according to a country song. But where does Nayte from The Bachelorette live now? Because during his non-hometown hometown, he was a big fan of Austin, Texas. So would Nayte love Michelle enough to move to Minnesota?
As of the day of Michelle's The Bachelorette finale, it looks like Nayte is still living in Austin. He doesn't post too often on Instagram, but the last time he used a location for a post was on Nov. 15 and he was in the Texas capital. (I also found him on Facebook, but it doesn't seem he keeps that updated since his location is Cheney, Wash., which is where his alma mater Eastern Washington University is located.) But he confirmed on the Dec. 16 episode of Bachelor Nation's "Click Bait" podcast that he's in Austin and loves it.

Nayte isn't afraid of moving around since he's originally from Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. So even though he does like his current location, he's covered some ground in his 27 years and might not mind another move.
And though Texas is pretty far from Minnesota, Nayte's hometown of Winnipeg is relatively close to Michelle's hometown of Minneapolis, which could be another selling point for him.
But there is one update to Nayte's life since the filming of The Bachelorette that could be a problem. According to his LinkedIn, Nayte started a new job in December 2021 at DISCO — a tech company that specializes in partnering with law firms and legal departments. Their headquarters are located in Austin and London. But could Nayte be working remotely?
Well, Nayte has his position listed as an Account Executive, so I searched DISCO's job postings for similar roles. For the current open position of Inside Sales Account Executive, the job description states, "This position is based in Austin, TX and will be an office based selling role once there is a return to the office. We will not hire residents of Colorado for this role." (I'm sure it's some legal hiring thing, but this East Coaster has no clue what the company has against Colorado.) Later, in the job application part, it has the required question of, "This role is based out of our Austin, TX headquarters. If you are not local are you willing to relocate to Austin?"
This particular Account Executive role that I found requires employees to be in office, but about half of the company's current open jobs are remote. So maybe Nayte's Account Executive position doesn't require him to be based in Austin. But if it does... would Nayte and Michelle be together long-distance? Or would she consider moving to Texas?
Michelle has made it pretty clear that she loves Minnesota and wants to stay there. But her current Instagram bio states, "Minnesotan at heart." Home is where the heart is and all that, but does the qualifier of "at heart" mean Minnesota is no longer her home? Is her heart physically in Texas with Nayte?
Nayte embarking on a new position in Austin the very month the finale airs doesn't seem to be a great indicator that he's with Michelle now. But despite her Minnesota pride, maybe it's Michelle who loves Nayte enough to follow him wherever he goes.
