Michelle's Students Gave A Brutal Assessment Of Martin On 'The Bachelorette'

Martin's red flag parade came to a close on the November 23 episode of The Bachelorette. While he seemed like a good time at first, as the season went on the warning signs that Martin is maybe not the best person to get engaged to after only a few weeks kept coming. In the end, Michelle had to give him the boot outside of a rose ceremony.

If I had to guess, I would have figured Martin wasn't going to be heading to next week's hometowns, anyway. Things weren't exactly going smoothly between him and Michelle. But, as a bonus, the show gave us some foreshadowing of Martin's demise via one of Michelle's elementary school students.

At the beginning of the episode, four of Michelle's students showed up to meet all the guys and judge them—harshly, in Martin's case. Most of the men got positive assessments. One youngster said that because Colton has big muscles, he'll be really good at carrying groceries. Also, "He has really good fort building abilities." Nayte got approval because he is tall, so Michelle can easily play basketball with him. Two students agreed that Olu "makes you feel warm inside, like a hot chocolate or a chocolate chip cookie." But, when it came to Martin, a student named Kelsey felt those red flags right away.

"I don’t really like Martin," she explained in her confessional. "I don’t know how to explain it. He’s trying to show off. I don’t know if he’s the right one for Michelle, and he wears too much cologne." Way to go, Kelsey! Don't hold back!
