Bachelor Nation has been a tough community to be part of after all the recent drama, but there was one shining light that had just about everyone excited for a new season of The Bachelorette, and that’s Bao. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, he’s one of the new contestants that was cast for Katie Thurston’s season of the show, and he’s absolutely gorgeous. When ABC released a photo album of their new lead’s potential suitors, Bao caught just about everyone’s eye, and we all simultaneously fell in love at first sight.

Not only is he great to look at, but Bao also seemed like the kind of contestant we all beg to see on this show. At 36, he’s on the more mature side, which means he might actually be one of the rare stars who is actually ready to find love and settle down, not just start his reality TV career. The fact that he’s also a real estate agent working in San Diego also reassured fans that he’s a real professional ready for romance.

“Bao makes me believe in The Bachelor again,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “Good afternoon to Bao only,” chimed in another. “The other Bachelor contestants can literally go away cause we are only watching for him.” Some have even declared their support for him as the next reality TV lead, with one joking, “So wild that @ABCNetwork officially fired everyone involved with making this show a train wreck and officially announced Bao as the next Bachelor. Love them for that!”
