- The Bachelor -16 Screenshots That Show the ‘Bachelorette' Final 3 Go From “Bros to Foes”
In recent seasons, The Bachelor and Bachelorette have found a way to make Fantasy Suite dates even more awkward for everyone involved, whether contestant or viewer. Unlike in earlier seasons of the shows, the final three contestants now interact with each other during the time that Fantasy Suite dates take place. While the contestants surely have their own bedrooms wherever they're staying, in the past few seasons, they've been made to meet up in a common area where all they can do is painfully converse about how their Fantasy Suite date went or how they hope for it to go.
And it's not like the final three contestants hate each other. On Michelle's current season, Brandon, Joe, and Nayte get along just fine. So, when they all meet up pre-Fantasy Suites, Joe notes that they're going from "bros to foes". By this stage of the season, each of the three men believes that he will marry Michelle. Plus, they know that a Fantasy Suite date involves hanging out off-camera and possibly sex. As Joe also aptly put it, "At this point, it's like someone went out on a date with your girlfriend and they spent the night together."
So, even if you are as confident as Nayte, it's an extremely awkward situation. Need proof? Here are 16 screenshots of the guys in the Fantasy Suite debriefing room that show just how excruciating it is.
Nayte and Joe Hearing Brandon Got the First Date
Apparently, there's only one way to hold you hands upon receiving this news.
Nayte Claiming He's Not Thinking About Michelle & Brandon
“It’s weird, but at the same time, I’m not going to lie, I haven’t really thought about it.”
Joe Not Believing Him
Nayte & Joe Realizing Michelle & Brandon Have a Fireworks Display
Yep, Nayte and Joe had to sit in this room only to find out that fireworks were going off on Michelle and Brandon's date. Then, they went outside to watch the show and further their suffering.
Not Handling the Awkwardness
Joe might have said that they went from "bros to foes," but everyone still got the giggles when Brandon returned from his date and said, "This is just awkward."
Brandon Not Knowing What the Eff to Do
There's Nowhere to Look
Just avoid eye contact!!
Nayte Trying to Convince Brandon Being Third Is Best
Nayte has always been confident and now he believes that going third on Fantasy Suite dates is the best position to be in.
Nayte Realizing Being Third Isn't Actually Best After Brandon Responds
Nayte and his red wine are just hanging in this beach-themed room coming up with some theories and bouncing 'em off of Brandon.
Brandon Internally Freaking Out
Am I rooting for Brandon to end up with Michelle? No. Do I want to save his precious self from this awkward room of awkwardness? Yes.
Joe Returning From His Date
"Date was good. Date was super cool. I ended up going to the Fantasy Suite for the night."
Brandon and Nayte Reacting
Date was not good, date was not super cool, in their opinions.
Nayte Returning From His Date
Nayte's voice says his date was "great," but his eyes say, "I can never look either of you in the face again."
Nayte told Brandon and Joe that he and Michelle "vibed out" and "kicked it" on their date, and Brandon tried to psychokinesis himself out of the room.
"How did I get here???"
When it comes down to it, these guys aren't actually bros who became foes. They're more like bros who still want to be bros, but because of this weird show are now hit with the reality that they should be foes. We can at least all live with the knowledge that they survived this Fantasy Suite waiting room of doom.
