7 'Bachelor' Accounts Every Fan Needs To Follow

Part of the fun of watching The Bachelor is becoming a member of Bachelor Nation. While outsiders may think that two hours of the ABC show each week is a lot of TV, fans know what it feels like to be thinking about the reality TV franchise 24/7 — especially after a particularly exciting episode or when big news drops like a Reality Steve spoiler correction. In moments like those, it’s important to be part of a community where you’re surrounded by people just as eager to talk about all things Bachelor as you are … and that’s where Bachelor Instagram fan accounts come in.

In these days where we’re constantly scrolling through social media and on our phones (especially when Going Outside and Having a Watch Party With Friends is Lava right now), it’s important to cultivate a feed that delivers you exactly the content you want. And, because I’m just so generous, I decided to do some of the groundwork for you. I rounded up some of the best Instagram accounts for Bachelor fans to follow, and now all you have to do is click through. You’re welcome!

Jared Freid is a comedian and podcaster who’s as obsessed with The Bachelor as you are — and his Instagram Stories as he “live screams” each episode are the proof.

What was your favorite season of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, or Bachelor in Paradise?

“I loved Peter [Weber’s] season because of the dynamic with his mom. I loved Hannah B.’s season because it felt like she was trying to please everyone but herself. I love JoJo [Fletcher’s] season because she’s really just great, and it’s a lesson in the power of charisma. I never got into Paradise because their opening music had all these people in on the joke and that kind of annoyed me. Like, you all get to be gorgeous and on a free trip AND cracking jokes?!! Nah.”

What keeps you coming back for more every season?

“I love the small moments. The shows as a whole are unbelievable and stupid. 30 women for one man?! C’mon. It’s the small moments where you kind of put yourself in the shoes of whoever is making the decisions. Those are fun and something we can all discuss where it’s personal but doesn’t feel like it.”

When did you start watching the show?

“Ben Higgins’ season was my first season where I took the show seriously and didn’t just watch in passing. He’s on the JoJo level where he’s truly likable for no really good reason. Again, charisma is a magical force.”

Is there one date in particular you remember and wish you could go on yourself?

“I could never go on for two reasons. The first is that I’m too overweight. Like, I’m not crazy overweight but I could lose a few. And the men on the show are all built like Captain America. Any normally-shaped human would look like the ‘before’ in a ‘before and after’ picture next to them. The second reason is that I’m a comedian and that job title would be in the lower third all season, and I would never be funny enough to live up to that job title. Like, I’ll introduce myself and someone will ask what I do and I say comedian and then they’re like, “WELL WHERE’S DA FUNNY?!” as if I [should’ve] squirted them with a clown flower after I said my name, and that’s just the worst moment of my life. I couldn’t handle it.”

Which contestants are your favorite Instagram follows?

“Hannah Ann is a good follow. She and her mom were fans of my live scream on Instagram during her season. I don’t think I’m mean on those, but I’m making fun. And for them to enjoy them like they did tells me a lot about them, and so I’m happy to see anything she puts out there.”

What couple did you most want to work out?

“Call me crazy, but I was really rooting for Clare and Dale! I really wanted that happy ending for her, and I’m sad they couldn’t work out. Although, not too surprising at all.”

Which contestants are your favorite Instagram follows?

“I love following Arie and Lauren and their sweet little family.”

Is there one date in particular you remember and wish you could go on yourself?

“As a big skier, Ben Flajnik’s ski date in the streets of San Francisco always stuck in my head, sans bikinis of course!”

What couple did you most want to work out?

“I’m always surprised when couples work out from the show. It’s such a short amount of time to fall in love and get to know someone well enough to get engaged. Statistically, the odds are against most couples, so I always root for the underdog.”
