Let me ask you a question: If you get home and find your husband on the ground in your shower do you...
- a) Run to him?
- b) Call 911
- c) Stare at him for 25 seconds
- d) Both A and B
I'll give you a hint, it's not C. Except that is exactly what Carrie did when she found Big on the ground in And Just Like That....
It took her a total of 25 seconds to finally go to him. 25 seconds might not seem like a lot of time, but when your husband is literally dying on the ground, it's basically centuries. I totally get that she was in shock. That is understandable. But you take a second, and then run to him. Not 25.
After she ran to him, she didn't call 911. She actually bulldozed him over (although maybe you are suppose to turn someone having a heart attack on their side?) and held him in a really awkward way that couldn't have been helpful. It almost looked like she was trying to pick him up and move him. Which also seems ill advised.
Truly though, why did Carrie move so slow? I am sure it was the shock, but WHY CARRIE. I also have to ask if Lily needed to play that piano as long as she did. And if Charlotte needed to really invite Carrie to the recital.
