Bravo stars are known for taking their reality TV fame and using it to launch other business ventures (maybe you've heard of Skinnygirl) and the Vanderpump Rules cast is no exception. The Toms have TomTom, Lala Kent has her makeup line, and Kristen Doute "makes her own TV shirts." But a recent VPR marathon had me thinking of one cast member's side business that I completely forgot about.
What happened to Katie Maloney Schwartz's company, Pucker and Pout?
Flashback with me to 2016. Katie was known in the first few seasons as Stassi Schroeder's "lap dog," but by Season 4, she was venturing out and having her moment in the sun. She was working on her beauty brand Pucker and Pout, which was not only a makeup line and a blog, but it was moving in the direction of being a lifestyle brand. Mmhm.
The episode featuring the launch party for Katie's new business venture was a doozy. James and Kristen were at each other's throats and had a blow out fight after he crashed the event. While some might only remember that aspect of the launch party, there was a lot more there to unpack.
The event took place at the Frederic Fekkai Salon in Beverly Hills, and of course it had apps and drinks made by... SUR and Vanderpump Sangria. The surprisingly classy event was attended by the VPR cast (who were at their prime during this time) and the infamous Toms bartended the event.
