Lala Kent Gives Birth To Baby Girl Named Ocean Kent Emmett

The next generation of Vanderpump Rules is growing stronger by the day. On Monday, March 15, Lala Kent announced the birth of her daughter with an Instagram photo, giving fans a peek at her newborn and revealing her name, Ocean Kent Emmett. This is her first child with fiancé Randall Emmett, who has two daughters from a previous relationship.

Emmett actually revealed that Kent had gone into labor on Sunday, sharing a photo of her lying in a hospital bed with the caption, "And so it begins..." In his own separate post announcing Ocean's arrival, Emmett added that the baby was "healthy, beautiful, and perfect like her mother."

Hopefully that means that the newest family member will be out of the hospital and home soon — something Kent has been looking forward to. "The one thing I'm really excited about is packing her up and taking her home and sharing her with my friends and family," she said in a BTS video fo her maternity shoot. And they can't wait either.

Among the comments congratulating Kent on her new baby girl are messages from her former Vanderpump Rules co-stars. "You did amazing and I can't wait to meet beautiful baby Ocean!! I love you guys so so much," Brittany Cartwright, who is currently expecting her first child, wrote in part. Kristen Doute also sent her well-wishes, writing, "I love you my gorgeous La and you little baby Ocean! I can't believe she's here!!" Meanwhile, new mom Stassi Schroeder, who welcomed her daughter Hartford Charlie Rose Clark earlier this year, also sent her love. "Such a stunning mama," she wrote. "What a magical day. We love Baby Ocean."

Ocean and Hartford are just two of the Vanderpump Rules babies making a 2021 debut. Cartwright is also expecting a baby in the coming months, as is Scheana Shay. Unfortunately, despite the baby boom, fans aren't going to be getting a Vanderpump Rules: Babies season. Schroeder and Cartwright were both fired from the Bravo series after a series of BTS scandals last year, and Kent has previously said she was unsure of whether she'd want to continue doing Vanderpump Rules as a new mom. That is, if Season 9 happens at all.
