2022 will be the 20th anniversary of A Walk To Remember and also the final season of This Is Us, which can only mean one thing: it's time for Shane West to guest star on This Is Us. In a new interview with Vulture, West said he would still be open to appearing on his A Walk To Remember co-star's NBC drama, and I am not exaggerating when I say, I NEED THIS.

West brought up the possibility himself when discussing what he wants to do next in his career, saying, "It would be cool in the final year of This Is Us to pop in as a surprise." Don't get too excited, though, as he seemed to want to caution fans against hoping too much for an on-screen Walk To Remember reunion, adding, "I don't know how that would work, and I don't know if that's even possible."

Now, I'm just a lowly fan, but if This Is Us can manage to keep Milo Ventimiglia on the show despite Jack dying like 3 seasons ago, then it can certainly find a role for West. He might not know how they would do it, but I do: make Shane West Rebecca's ex on This Is Us.

There are obviously a million and one ways This Is Us could incorporate a romantic ex for Rebecca in the final season, but here are a few scenarios I really think could work.
