Why Isn't Tayshia Adams At 'After The Final Rose'? The Bachelorette Is MIA

The wait is over. On Tuesday night, Michelle Young will hand out her final rose and join Bachelor Nation for her first (public) outing with her winner. Unfortunately, there will be one person missing from the festivities. Tayshia will not be at After The Final Rose, as Kaitlyn Bristowe revealed moments into the live telecast.

Nothing like doing live TV... alone, Kaitlyn Bristowe joked when she took the stage. According to Kaitlyn, Tayshia was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID, causing her to sit out the evening out of an "abundance of caution."

Tayshia took to her Instagram stories earlier in the day to explain the situation a little more. "For Michelle to have her night, as well as Kaitlyn and the crew to produce this live finale," Tayshia shared she wouldn't be at the live taping. While she didn't say if she herself had tested positive for COVID, she did note that cases in New York have been rising (recently setting a record high since mid-April), and it would be the best for everyone if she stayed home. However, she said she would be tuning in with her popcorn, tissues, and a glass of wine, to watch Michelle's happy ending.

Cheers to that.
