Jason and Melissa are classic, but it’s Becca and Arie for me. The fact that he was willing to have that filmed…. It’s just so heartless. 

Also, I never understood Arie and Lauren. They barely had a conversation on the show. I never saw any chemistry, but I clearly was missing something. 

"Peter and everybody" is so funny to me. He is such a goob. 

The top for me: Rachel and Peter (even though I know she was much happier with Bryan, this one really LOOKED messy), and, of course, Katie and Greg. Katie and Blake, too, considering the timeline of that and her relationship with John is spicy... 

In honor of all hell breaking loose for Clayton's season finale, I thought it would be fun to rank the messiest franchise breakups.

5. Andi Dorfmann. BOTH of her splits with Nick Viall and Josh Murray. Although she is too good for them both.

4. Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft. Jason was the first Bachelor to change his mind after proposal day! Blazing the trail of messy for our next split...

3. Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Becca Kufrin.  They beat Jason and Melissa because they sent a camera crew TO THE HOUSE to film the split. Arie had been plotting that FOR WEEKS!

2. Jenna Cooper and Jordan Kimball. DO YOU REMEMBER THIS MESS!? They got engaged on BIP and then the alleged texts from Jenna were leaked. Texts about her having a potential sugar daddy, lying to Jordan, and saying it was all fake!

1. Peter and everybody. Peter should have NEVER proposed to Hannah Ann. He should have NEVER let his mother drag Madi on national television. and he should have NEVER been allowed within ten feet of Kelley Flanagan after his season was done.
