I still think plus-size Bachelor(ette) is a few years in our future, since the series tends to be a decade late to most movement. 

I would wager to guess an LGBTQIA+-friendly Bachelor or Bachelorette. I would guess Colton, but a) he’s controversial, b) he’s kind of aligned with Netflix now, and, c) he’s boring. 

Maybe we’re about to get a Demi Bachelorette season?

Part of me is worried when I see announcements like this, because Bachelor always botches things when it tries to go progressive. Don’t get me wrong: I am dying for more inclusion on the series. But they are just SO bad at executing it, that it just ends up shameful and backwards. 

Mike Fleiss recently took to Twitter and said that there is a historic announcement coming. Historic is the keyword here. I know that it will probably be something boring not historic, uniconic, regular and disappointing but let’s just speculate for the hell of it. Is he going to have a gay bachelor? Are they going to allow plus size women on the show? Or are they going to have more Black people? I think that’s way too out there for this franchise especially since a lot of their audience is still talking about Chris Harrison’s firing. So I should tone down my expectations. So realistically, what do you think this historic announcement will be ?
