Interesting! The competitions have gotten kind of weird on Bach, although as someone else mentioned... because it's in the interest of LOVE it's OK. But I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Bach challenge that involved walking up 50 flights of stairs just to get a rose soon. 

The Bachelor is lawful evil, while ANTM is chaotic evil, which is why the former gets away with it so much more. But yeah — Bachelor is incredibly manipulative, and it's ruined lives with its edits. But because it has a pretense of love over ANTM's pretense of ambition, it gets a pass. 

That said, ANTM is really the true epitome of evil. And that said, I loved watching every second of it. 

Say what you want about ANTM, but it was a good TV. Obviously her practices were traumatizing and kind of shocking when you look back. But also, the bachelor isn’t as bad but comes pretty close. As you see in Clayton‘s season the girls have been forced to trauma dump and then he sends them home. On Katies season, she made a lot of guys eat a bunch of high carb food just for the hell of it and sent them home. In past seasons of the Bachelorette the men were forced to get nearly naked only to be sent home. My point is the bachelor isn’t really that different from ANTM but it’s way less entertaining. Yet every few weeks people want to come fr Tyra fr what she did over a decade ago!
