I love Nick's podcast. It's the only one I listened to during Clayton's season. The Bachelor podcasts are really boring because you know they aren't going to get into the good stuff, whereas Nick does. I think it's unique that he has a good relationship with the show, yet is able to bash it and give really good interviews where he asks the questions we all want to know. I'm here for it! Also, he's been breaking into the Love is Blind world which I was surprised about....

He’s been able to funnel being a “controversial” figure into being a personality that people want insight from. And I think once he got one good interview, he became THE place and ABC knows that. Plus, he probably has a great relationship with producers, since he was on four times. That longevity definitely helps. 

He's managed to get some big-time celebrities on the pod, so I would guess ABC wants to be seen alongside those celebrities, vs. some of the Bachelor pods who only deal with Bachelor Nation. Also, ABC seems to keep their friends close and everyone else far, far away — they have a few outlets where they offer exclusives, but don't seem to provide access far and wide. Disney is a very PR-conscious business. 

He’s like a superstar in the bachelor community. Love him or hate him he made waves. I don’t care for him though 

Is this a place for me to talk about how much I hate Nick Viall? (And Late Shows, if you're reading this, and would like to use as a "mean tweet" or whatever, by all means. Nick is the worst. He thinks he's "just being honest" but really, what he's being honest about is that his feminism is stuck in the '90s. That TikTok about what guys think vs girls thinks, when it comes to labels? Absolutely abhorrent. ... 1/2

He gets great press (including this post itself)! Seems like a no-brainer to put their contestants on his show so ppl talk about it! 

As a podcaster myself, I can't tell you how many times I have been denied contestants to come on the show. It seems that anyone who is under contract can only go on Bachelor Nation podcasts, with the exception of Nick Viall's ,Viall Files (I think maybe Kaitlyn's Off The Vine too, but at least she hosted the show recently).

Nick is pretty harsh when talking about the contestants and the show, so why does ABC approve their contestants to go on his pod? Susie went on his pod the day after the finale. Same with Gregg Grippo.
