I think we can all collectively agree that Monday night's Bachelorette was brutal and we don't need to relive it again by summarizing how it went down. But with over half the episode devoted to Katie and Greg's romance-fight-break-up, we forgot something... Katie shouldn't end up with Greg anyway, because Katie and Blake are perfect for each other.
Yes, Greg was the frontrunner the entire season, but Blake was always the better choice for Katie in my mind. I have told anyone that would listen that I felt that Katie and Blake would beat the odds and make it to the altar. They are truly great together. And here's why:
They have amazing chemistry
As soon as Blake showed up on the show, the energy between them was palpable. Katie has confirmed multiple times that, as both Tayshia and Claire said, Blake is in fact a good kisser. They also seem to have trouble keeping their hands off each other. Blake even admitted to his family that their physical connection is "1,000% there", so there's that.
Katie fits right in with his family
The night between Katie and Blake's family seemed light and fun — despite the elephant in the room (the elephant being, this is a TV show). It felt like a normal meet-the-family night, and the dynamic was easy and natural. I mean, Blake's mom gave Katie a Canadian dildo. Talk about a match made in heaven.
They are the same kind of weird
Katie said on their first 1-on-1 that, "We're like the same... it makes it fun, it makes it easy...". They both have adorable quirks that complement each other so well. From their first date on the horses, to their playful back and forth playing hockey, they just fit.
While I am so excited to watch After the Final Rose next week just to see the reunion of Greg and Katie (we already know our girl is gonna be out for blood), I am also really excited to see if she gets her happily ever after with Blake. (I realize I didn't mention Justin. Love the guy, but there's not way it's Justin.)
