Raise your hand if you have accidentally called Clayton Echard "Colton" when talking about this season of The Bachelor. Yeah, just about all of us. That's what I thought. Don't feel bad, even Bachelor royalty, Ben Higgins, had a similar slip up on his podcast. It's not like any of us are doing it on purpose, and in our defense, they are actually very similar.

Take for example their names. Both started with "C"and both end with "ton." Enough said. They both are also good, midwestern, all-American boys. (Clayton is from Missouri and Colton is from Illinois.) On top of that, they even kind of look a like: dark blonde hair, blue eyes, built like linebackers. Speaking of linebackers, they both played Division 1 football before going pro — Clayton at Mizzou and then for the Seattle Seahawks. Colton played at Illinois State before being on the practice squads for the San Diego Chargers, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Oakland Raiders.

Even their promos were very similar, both heavily featuring puppies.

It almost like ABC wants us to mix them up. So to this I say, dear readers, it's not our fault. Especially since Colton has been in the media a lot this past year, and Coming Out Colton only premiered a couple months ago.

And to Clayton, I say please forgive us for these slip ups. Your season is already turning out to be one of my favorites.
