Are Tayshia & Zac Still Together? Here's What 'After The Final Rose' Would Have Shown Us

Chris Harrison, I'd like to speak to your manager. The fact that Tayshia Adams didn't get an "After The Final Rose" special to give an update on her relationship with Zac Clark is unacceptable. She deserved better. Bachelor Nation deserved better. But, since we can't go back in time and make it happen, here's the post-Bachelorette Tayshia and Zac update we would have gotten if they had been able to sit across from Harrison on jewel toned velvet couches.

First things first: yes, Tayshia and Zac are still together, and still very happily engaged. The former Bachelorette confirmed the news after the finale aired on the west coast, sharing a quick update on her Instagram stories of her celebrating with Zac, proudly showing off her engagement ring. Meanwhile, after the finale aired, Harrison was left to explain why there was no "After The Final Rose," tweeting, "Due to being pushed into the holidays and the difficulty of bringing people safely together during this time it just wasn't possible." (You really couldn't hop on a quick zoom call though, Chris?)

Luckily for us, "After The Final Rose" isn't the only way to find out what Tayshia's up to now. On Wednesday, Dec. 23, she and Zac began their happy couple press tour, revealing their post-Bachelorette journey and teasing their future together. "It just feels right. I can't wait to experience life with him by my side," Tayshia told People post-finale. For now, that means dating and finding a place together in New York City. "I'm going to be bicoastal," Tayshia explained during an appearance on former Bachelorettes Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin's Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, confirming that she'll keep her place in California, but will be spending the rest of 2020 over on his side of the country. "No return flight yet," Zac added. "I'm excited to date her and take her out."

If that sounds backwards to any of you watching at home, well, that's just the Bachelor way! And, while the two of them are very happy with their status as an engaged couple, fans shouldn't expect a Zac and Tayshia wedding just yet. "We're just going with the flow at the moment," Tayshia said during a post-finale interview with Good Morning America on Wednesday. "We're just going to date each other, how about that?"

As for what dating during the pandemic means for them, Zac revealed he's been getting ideas for low-key, pandemic-friendly dates from Pintrest. And, in a segment of rapid fire questions, the couple said that they do have pet names for each other, and you can just call them "Clarky and The Queen." (Don't worry, it's not nearly as cringeworthy when you hear them say it.) Honestly, maybe it's OK that we didn't get an "After The Final Rose" this season. Chris Harrison never could have gotten that scoop.
