Luke Gulbranson's Jobs Show Off His Many (And Varied) Talents

We know that Lindsay Hubbard runs Hubb House PR. We get that Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, and Carl Radke are all a part of the Loverboy empire. We understand that Paige DeSorbo is a "content creator", that Ciara Miller is a recovering nurse, that Mya Allen bakes cookies, that Alex Wach is a personal trainer, that Andrea Denver is a model, and that Danielle Olivera has a "real job"... but what about our manly gopher from the north? What is Luke Gulbranson's job?

The man, the myth, the legend is a multi-hyphenate. His Instagram bio lists four jobs (his LinkedIn lists two) and they're all quite different. On LinkedIn, he writes:

I am a working actor based in NYC. I have worked on Comedy Central, HBO, Bravo TV, Films and Theater. Currently producing a feature film. I am the owner and designer of the brand R__Co. A Rustic Luxury brand that produces handmade heirloom quality goods.

Would you expect anything less from our enigmatic Prince of Guyliner and Igloos? I don't think so.

Let's take a look at Luke's jobs, and marvel at his many talents. We'll assume that he listed them in order of importance on his Instagram, so we'll start with the first in line: actor.

Actor

According to IMDb, Luke is currently filming Love, Reconsidered, which is about "Ruby, a 30-year-old New Yorker whose life is transferred to the Hamptons right after a chance meeting with a wealthy consignment store owner." OK!!

In 2020, we all remember when we saw Luke in the HBO series, The Flight Attendant, which seems to be his most notable acting role to date. In 2015 he was a "model" on a episode of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver and in 2014, he played Drew in a short film called By My Hand.

Designer and Founder of R_Co.

Now, this might be where Luke shines. He says he launched R_Co. in 2017, so OK! Good on him. His company sells t-shirts, sweats, kids' onesies, and more with the R_Co. label (you can see Craig Conover wearing one of Luke's baseball tees here) but the main attraction seems to be his jewelry.

We've seen Luke at his workbench in the Hamptons and in his studio in New York hand-making rings (you'll never forget that time he showed Hannah Berner around his jewelry-making shop, I know) – here's how Luke describes his brand:

R_CO. is an original brand. It’s inspired by the small blue collar mining towns of Northern MN and the luxurious lifestyle of New York City. The renaissance brand that isn’t meant for one type of person but for everyone in any setting. It’s rugged. It’s comfortable. It’s luxurious. Why do one thing when you can do everything in life. This brand encompasses the Renaissance Man and Woman.

His rings retail for $235, but if you're looking to support Luke, but not that much, might I suggest one of Luke's candles? The Dipp's writer Samantha Bush smell-tested it and she has a lot to say. Come on, treat yourself to a Luke candle! Support local business!

Film Producer

Listen, Luke is no Randall Emmett, which is a really good thing. I couldn't find any film producing credits, but, as evidenced above, his TikTok videos are i n c r e d i b l e, so the man does have some raw talent.

Hockey Coach

About two weeks ago, Luke shared this video, which implied he was in Pittsburgh with the travel, youth hockey team he coaches. We've heard him describe himself as a hockey coach on Summer House before, and it seems like he's still enjoying molding the minds of young men. I think that's what a hockey coach does, because that's what a high school football coach does, according to some dialogue from Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights.

Honorable Mention: Model

Luke does not list "model" in any of his bios, but a picture is worth a thousand words, so. He's shared several modeling shots on his Instagram, including the one above, which implies he modeled for Tom Ford.

Luke is also an accomplished handyman and home-renovator, according to some of the Instagrams he's shared, so if Summer House and Winter House don't yield what he's looking for, I do think there's an HGTV opportunity down the line. Jewels & Junk, with Luke Gulbranson. It has a nice ring to it!
