- Succession -Logan Roy Is Screwed In 'Succession' Season 3 Based On Recent Casting News
After a shocking season finale in which Kendall Roy putting on his killer boots and screwed over Daddy Dearest, Logan Roy, at the Waystar Royco press conference, I have been waiting... and waiting... and waiting for production on Season 3 of Succession to ramp back up again. Pre-pandemic, filming for Season 3 was originally slated to begin in April 2020, according to Variety. However, shooting was put on hiatus, and didn't begin until the end of 2020.
But the Roys are back, baby. And Season 3 is set to pick up after the "ambush," according to IndieWire, with Logan scrambling for some security in his empire, his business relationships, and his life. And who better to see him through these tumultuous times than some new faces.
My colleague Olivia Truffaut-Wong kindly clocked that three recurring characters have already been upped to regulars for Season 3: playwright extraordinaire Willa Ferreyra (Justine Lupe), Communications VP Hugo Baker (Fisher Stevens), and the only person having a normal reaction to the hostage situation last season, Waystar CFO Karl Muller (David Rasche). But as of late, there have been even more additions made to the nest of vipers.
Let's investigate how they may fit into the "shit show at the fuck factory" in Season 3.
Variety reported just a matter of weeks ago that three new cast members will be joining the Succession empire.
