I'm so shocked it was renewed. But maybe in season 2 they'll get their shit together? The writers were so bad, they need to fix it. I'll give it one more chance!

Oh boy. I don’t know if I have the energy for more. I already only consider SATC 1-6 as canon (mayyyybe you could convince me to include the movie too,  had they not massacred Steve for the first time), but seeing this show consistent trend downwards since the early 2000s has been painful for an OG fan. 

I feel relieved, honestly. I miss the SATC ladies. No matter how much AJLT was horrible, it was nice catching up with them. I hope the writing room returns to its roots in writing and I hope we get more Carrie voice over now that she has the podcast. It was a huge element that was missing for me :(

Can Carrie just wake up in S2E1 and be like, "Wow, what a crazy dream!"

I need #justiceforsteve, I need Miranda to start acting like a normal human being again, and I need goddamn FUN again, SATC. It's probably futile to pray for Kim's return, but her presence is SO needed. 

It was trash, but it was our trash and so I look forward to hate watching every ep. I’m upset that it’s not rewatchable like the original seasons though. I’ve seen them a million times, but you couldn’t pay me to rewatch and just like that more than once. 

OK, I know I had a lot of Thoughts on the first season but damn, if I wasn't thrilled to see that AJLT is gonna be back for a second season! 

HBO Max confirmed a Season 2 as well as the return of SJP, Rambo, and Kristin Davis. No news on if TV's greatest character, Che Diaz, will return — here's hopin'! 

No news on WHEN, but hey... we've got momentum!
