It's been 10 long years since the release of Sex and the City 2, and I think it's safe to say that we are all definitely 10 years older. But Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda might have been able to escape the last decade — this is television, meaning when the Sex and the City reboot will actually take place is anybody's guess. Will the Sex and the City reboot actually find all the characters 10 years older, or will movie magic find them just as young as they were when we last saw them in the second film?
Despite the big announcement confirming the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That..., not much is known about the show other than the fact that it will star Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. But, Variety and other outlets have confirmed that the show will follow the characters "as they navigate love and friendship in their 50s." In Sex and the City 2, the only woman in her 50s was Samantha, as played by Kim Cattrall, who will not be returning to the series. So, based on that little tidbit, it seems like Charlotte, Carrie, and Miranda have not been immune to aging after all. (Sorry ladies!)
No official release date for And Just Like That... has been announced yet, but assuming the show will pick back up sometime this year, in 2021, here's how old all the Sex and the City characters will be in the reboot.
