Awwww end of an era! I am proud to STILL own the very first iPod, and, if I ever get to use it again, it still has all of my songs that I burned off of Limewire. Really wish I could find a charger for it!

After 20 years Apple is officially retiring the iPod. Though the iPod touch will be available while supplies last, they are not making any new ones.

I remember getting the iPod classic and it amazing not having to carry around a disc man and ~5 cds with you at all times! I also remember having a pink iPod shuffle that I used at the gym. 

Ever since getting an iPhone I definitely can’t say I’ve used my iPod much at all, but it’s definitely a little sad to see the life cycle of such an iconic product.
