Cocktails are certainly welcome at mine, but the way I do it is to fill the eggs with either privileges or punishments for my friends. So, they might get the privilege of a handmade cocktail customized for them and their personality, crafted by yours truly. But they might also have to take a shot of the blue raspberry vodka that’s been in my liquor cabinet since the early 2010s. 

I think I’m going to make a new Fourth of July tradition…

That’s good! I’d also include lottery tickets in the eggs.

save this idea for next year. Adult Easter egg hunt: have one responsible not so drunk person hide the eggs. Hide plastic Easter eggs with dollar bills, mini liquor bottles, candy, jewelry and other small goodies. Make everyone spin around like pin the tail on the donkey and  let er rip. If you’re mean you can fill some plastic eggs with boiled ones!
